This distance passage starts in Zakynthos, runs via Kefalonia and Lefkada through the southern Ionian Sea and returns to its starting point. Kefalonia is the largest of the Ionian Islands. Myrtos Bay - one of the most photographed beach motifs in Greece - the Drogarati stalactite cave and the underground lake of Melissani (open water beneath a collapsed cave roof) give Kefalonia a uniquely natural character.
