Superior Veranda Suite
Nova Class, Second Ship
Silver Ray entered service as the second Nova-class vessel, following Silver Nova into a design concept that takes a deliberately different approach to how a premium cruise ship is organised. The horizontal layout distributes public spaces and suites across a wider, lower structure rather than stacking them in a conventional tower arrangement. The effect is more panoramic sight lines from more positions on the ship, a pool deck that is proportionally larger than on the older Muse-class ships, and suites in the upper forward positions with 270-degree views of sea and sky simultaneously.
728 guests travel with a crew of 544 – the same configuration as Silver Nova – with butler service throughout and the full all-inclusive package.
Dining Across Nine Venues
Silver Ray carries nine dining venues including The Marquee – an outdoor dining space that is exclusive to the Nova class and reflects the design intent to connect guests more directly with the environment the ship is sailing through. S.A.L.T. Kitchen adapts its menu to the current destination; S.A.L.T. Bar applies the same logic to cocktails. La Dame, La Terrazza, Kaiseki, Spaccanapoli, Silver Note, and the Grill complete the complement. All are included.
Suite Range
Twelve suite categories span the same range as Silver Nova: from the well-proportioned Classic Veranda Suite to the Otium Suite, Master Suite, and Signature Suite at the top of the range. All include butler service, a private veranda or outdoor space, and Silversea’s all-inclusive offering – drinks, Wi-Fi, and gratuities. The Otium Suite’s forward positioning and 270-degree orientation make it the ship’s signature accommodation.
S.A.L.T. and On-Board Life
The S.A.L.T. programme – Kitchen, Bar, and Lab – runs as on other Silversea ships, with the addition of the Nova-class design philosophy that integrates indoor and outdoor spaces throughout the ship rather than confining the destination connection to the S.A.L.T. spaces. The overall effect is a ship designed to feel present in its environment rather than self-contained against it.
Itineraries
