When is the best time to sail the Aegean?

Is the Aegean suitable for beginners?
Yes. The yachts and catamarans carry a skipper aboard, so you need no sailing experience. The Ionian Islands and the Saronic Gulf are especially sheltered; the open Cyclades with the Meltemi are more demanding.
