The Voyage

Northern Dalmatia from/to Trogir

From Trogir this yacht voyage heads north into the world of the Kornati islands. Short distances, daily anchor stops and quiet bays shape the days, with ample time for swimming and shore visits in the Dalmatian coastal towns.

Highlights

  • Primosten: a picturesque old town on a peninsula, ringed by vineyards.
  • Sibenik: the Cathedral of St James, built entirely of stone and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  • Dugi Otok: the long island with Telascica bay and its steep cliffs.
  • Kornati: a labyrinth of bare islands within the national park, ideal for anchoring.
Yacht voyage

The finest way to sail: a new anchorage every day, plenty of time for watersports and going ashore, nights at anchor in a quiet bay and a morning swim before moving on.

  • Primošten

Primosten lies on Croatia's Dalmatian coast on a small peninsula between Sibenik and Trogir. A medieval old town with red tile roofs and pebble beaches define the town.

  • Šibenik

Šibenik's Cathedral of St. James, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2000, is one of the most important late Gothic and Renaissance buildings on the Adriatic - remarkable for being built entirely from stone slabs without mortar. Excursions lead to Krka National Park with its waterfalls.

  • Dugi Otok

Dugi Otok is a 45-kilometre elongated island off the northern Dalmatian coast of Croatia, whose name translates as Long Island. To the south lies Telašćica Nature Park with dramatic cliffs and a shimmering turquoise salt lake, to the north Sakarun Bay with its almost Caribbean-looking beach.
