Nuuk (Godthaab) to Saint Pierre Island
This 14-night expedition follows the wild coast from west Greenland's capital all the way to the French island of Saint Pierre off Canada's east coast. Aboard Le Lyrial, an ice-strengthened premium vessel of the sistership class for 184 guests, you cross Davis Strait into the Labrador Sea area. The highlight is the Torngat Mountains National Park in northern Labrador with its jagged ranges and living Inuit culture. Further along Newfoundland and Labrador the route links Battle Harbour and Twillingate with the colourful capital of Saint Johns. The naturalist team accompanies Zodiac landings, from whale watching to historic Inuit sites.

Nain is the northernmost permanent Inuit community on the Labrador coast of Canada on the Labrador Sea. -
Battle Harbour
Battle Harbour is a restored historic fishing village on an island off the south-east coast of Labrador in Canada. From 1770 to 1930 it was the main salt-cod trading station on the coast, and Robert Peary officially announced his conquest of the North Pole here in 1909.

Destination
Le Lyrial
Le Lyrial entered service in 2015 as the fourth and final ship of the Odyssée class. 264 guests, proven Ponant equipment and the experience of three predecessors. Particularly sought-after for Antarctic expeditions, where the ice-reinforced hull opens passages available to few ships.
Along the east coast of North America, Le Lyrial sails through the Gulf of St. Lawrence and along the coast of Newfoundland - areas where whales, icebergs and fishing villages meet.
