This eleven-night transit voyage aboard Le Lapérouse runs in late winter from Brest in Brittany via the Netherlands up to Tromsø above the Arctic Circle. The 184-guest Explorer-class ship, with her ice-strengthened hull and sixteen Zodiacs, is built for shifting climate zones. In February northern Norway lies in its late polar-night phase, with short daylight hours and good chances of seeing the aurora.
