Eight nights on Le Bellot from London to Greenock, in partnership with Smithsonian Journeys, trace the Celtic arc from Dover across the Channel, the Scilly Isles, Ireland's south coast, Wales and Northern Ireland on to the Hebrides. The route emphasises the cultural ties of the Celtic world from Cornwall to Mull, with Smithsonian lectures on language, mythology and the early Middle Ages. The harbour at the mouth of the River Medina is home to the venerable Royal Yacht Squadron, whose cannon-armed clubhouse starts the annual regatta.
