Vessel

Bali 5.4

Comfort and generous space combined with excellent sailing characteristics without heeling. Aboard this spacious catamaran you will find room and privacy not only in the double cabins with private bathroom. Saloon and cockpit merge into a generous open-air saloon. Favourite spots are the sun loungers on the flybridge and the airy cockpit with benches and sun loungers on the foredeck. A bimini provides shade from the sun. The Bali 5.4 combines Catana's typically purist design with outstanding sailing qualities. The model was awarded Multihull of the Year at her market launch in 2019. She is well equipped with watermaker and generator.

A relaxed yacht holiday

Simply enjoy. Plenty of room on the flybridge, in the cockpit, on the trampoline net and in the saloon. Cabins with private bathroom, partially air-conditioned.

Atmosphere aboard

You and your fellow guests spend a relaxed time together. The professional crew (skipper and cook/deckhand) look after the wellbeing and safety of the guests. You are a guest and may simply unwind – you are not expected to lend a hand. The aim: a relaxed time with beautiful memories. She is typically underway for two to four hours a day.

Activities

  • Swimming from the platform at the anchorages
  • Shore excursions or going ashore on your own
  • Water sports: kayaks or SUP, snorkelling
  • Relaxing aboard during the passage to the next anchorage
  • Time on the beach

The adventure of life at sea

Gliding across the waves in the trampoline net. On this catamaran cruise there is no guarantee that she will proceed under sail – in unfavourable winds she will also proceed under engine.

Simply arrive and unwind.

Cabins

Modern, light-filled cabins aboard the Bali 5.4

She offers 6 cabins for 12 guests. Each cabin has a private bathroom with shower and WC. Standard cabins are located amidships in the hulls. The Superior Cabins are positioned forward or aft in the hull, are slightly larger and brighter.

Route

The markers show possible anchorages. The skipper selects the specific places on site, depending on current conditions. Route, stops and order may change at the skipper's discretion. No mutual claims arise from route adjustments. Claims are not excluded where the route change is wilfully caused by the guest.

Day by day

How your route could unfold:

  1. Day 1

    Palm Cay Marina, Nassau

Embarkation in the late afternoon at the Palm Cay Marina in Nassau. Welcome and dinner aboard, overnight in the harbour. Guests arriving early can purchase a day pass at the marina for the beach, pool and bar.

  2. Day 2

    Nassau - Highbourne Cay

  3. Day 3

    Highbourne Cay - Shroud Cay

By tender we explore the mangroves and tidal creek of Shroud Cay. The "Washing Machine" at the end of the mangrove channel draws swimmers with the current out across the island onto the ocean-side sandbank. Beach time, relaxation.

  4. Day 4

Shroud Cay - Big Major (Pigs) - Staniel Cay

Early in the morning to Big Major Cay - where the famous swimming pigs are waiting. Snorkelling in the mystical Thunderball Grotto (entry only possible at low tide; the order depends on the tide times). Mooring at Staniel Cay, drinks at the Staniel Cay Yacht Club in the evening.

  5. Day 5

Staniel Cay - Compass Cay - Cambridge Cay

In the morning a visit to Rachel's Bubble Bath (subject to the tidal window), then on to Compass Cay. Swim with the peaceful nurse sharks right at the jetty or relax on the beach. In the evening a short passage to Cambridge Cay - a quiet anchorage for the night.

  6. Day 6

Cambridge Cay - Warderick Wells - Norman's Cay

In the morning on to O'Briens Cay, the "Aquarium" - one of the finest snorkelling spots in the Exumas. Onward to Warderick Wells: a walk up to Boo Boo Hill with blowholes and panoramic views. In the afternoon on to Norman's Cay - snorkelling in the shallow water above a sunken aircraft wreck.

  7. Day 7

    Norman's Cay - Allen Cay - Nassau

An early departure for Allen's Cay, where rock iguanas live wild on the beach. Passage back to Nassau, dinner aboard. Optional transfer in the evening to Atlantis Paradise Island (casino, resort, aquarium - at a surcharge).
