Longyearbyen to Tromsø
This nine-night expedition with Silver Endeavour runs from Longyearbyen in the Svalbard archipelago back to Tromsø across the polar sea. The route includes, ice permitting, landings at glaciers and bird cliffs as well as the northern mainland points around the North Cape. The PC6 expedition ship allows Zodiac trips in true expedition style. Premium all-inclusive means butler service in every suite, premium wines, gratuities and Wi-Fi already included. Longyearbyen on Svalbard is the world's northernmost town with a permanent civilian population (78° N). The former coal-mining settlement is today the gateway to the Arctic - dog sledding, winter aurora, midnight sun in summer and the Svalbard Global Seed Vault.
