The Voyage

Valparaíso to Miami

From Valparaíso this eighteen-night passage follows the Pacific coast of South America through the Panama Canal into the Caribbean to Miami. The Silver Nova, carrying 728 guests, belongs to the newest asymmetric class from 2024, with the largest pool deck in the fleet and the S.A.L.T. culinary programme. The route links the Atacama harbour towns of Chile with the Peruvian gateway cities to Lima and Quito before passing through the canal into the Caribbean Sea. Butler service in every suite, premium wine and complimentary WiFi are included throughout.

Route highlights

  • Valparaíso: departure harbour, a UNESCO World Heritage site with colourful hillside districts and historic funiculars, the gateway to Santiago.
  • Arica: Chile's northernmost harbour town on the edge of the Atacama Desert, with the Saint Mark's church designed by Eiffel.
  • Callao: the harbour of Lima, giving access to the UNESCO old town, the Larco Museum and the Pacific coastline of the Peruvian capital.
  • Guayaquil: Ecuador's largest city, gateway to the Andes, Cajas National Park and Quito (domestic flight).
  • Balboa and the Panama Canal: Panama City's Pacific harbour and a day's transit through the Miraflores, Pedro Miguel and Gatún locks.
  • Cozumel: Mexican Caribbean island with reefs off the Yucatán peninsula and Maya sites within day-trip range.
  • Miami: the closing harbour in Florida with South Beach, the Art Deco district and the Caribbean hub of Port Miami.

Early booking advantage: Voyages in 2027 fill quickly - premium cabins are often reserved 18-24 months in advance. An early booking enquiry is non-binding and secures your preferred cabin category.
