  • Toronto · Embarkation

Toronto on the northern shore of Lake Ontario is Canada's largest city and the capital of Ontario province. The 553-metre CN Tower rises above a multicultural metropolis with lively neighbourhoods such as Kensington and the Distillery District.

  • Kreuzen auf dem Lake Ontario
  • At sea
  • Montréal

Montréal combines European flair with North American energy. The old town Vieux-Montréal with the Notre-Dame Basilica, Mont Royal as the green lung, and the cosmopolitan food culture (Canadian smoked meat, French-Canadian patisserie) make Montréal unique.

  • Québec

High above the St. Lawrence River in the Canadian province of the same name, this historic capital reigns as the only city in North America with intact fortified walls. The old town with its iconic Château Frontenac, cobbled lanes and French colonial flair is a UNESCO World Heritage site and regarded as the most European city on the continent.

  • Tadoussac

Tadoussac sits in Canada's Québec where the deep Saguenay Fjord meets the Saint Lawrence River. It is regarded as one of the world's finest spots for watching belugas and blue whales.

  • At sea
  • Charlottetown (Prince Edward Island)

Charlottetown is the capital of the Canadian province of Prince Edward Island on the Gulf of St. Lawrence and is considered the birthplace of the Canadian Confederation of 1867. In the elegant downtown of Victorian timber houses, Province House National Historic Site commemorates the famous Charlottetown Conference.

  • Cap-aux-Meules, Magdalenen-Inseln

Cap-aux-Meules is the principal town and only deep-water port of the Magdalen Islands in the Canadian Gulf of Saint Lawrence, an archipelago belonging to the province of Quebec. The islands are famed for their red sandstone cliffs, endless dune beaches and a distinctive Acadian island culture.

  • Sydney

Australia's largest city lies on one of the world's most beautiful natural harbours, dominated by the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. The Rocks and Darling Harbour districts, the beaches of Bondi and Manly, and the Royal Botanic Garden are the central highlights.

  • Lunenburg

Port town on the Atlantic coast of the Canadian province of Nova Scotia, founded in 1753 by Swiss and German settlers. The grid-planned old town with colourful timber houses and the shipyard of the famed schooner Bluenose are UNESCO World Heritage.

  • Yarmouth, Nova Scotia

Yarmouth sits in the south-west of the Canadian province of Nova Scotia at the entrance to the Bay of Fundy. Victorian sea captains' houses and the nearby Acadian coast shape the town's character.

  • Eastport (Moose Island)

Eastport in the US state of Maine sits on Moose Island and is the easternmost city in the United States. Off its coast in the Bay of Fundy tides of up to eight metres create the famous Old Sow whirlpool, the largest tidal whirlpool in the western hemisphere.

  • Provincetown

At the northernmost tip of Cape Cod in the US state of Massachusetts, this harbour town was the Pilgrim Fathers' first landing point in 1620 before they sailed on to Plymouth. Today it is renowned for its artist colony, LGBT scene and whale-watching tours into the Stellwagen Bank.
