Seven nights under white sails through the central and northern Aegean. From Athens the Star Flyer sails to Samos and Çeşme on the Turkish coast, on to the westernmost Sporades island of Skyros and to Skopelos. A voyage that combines eastern Aegean island authenticity with the northern Greek Sporades world.

Piraeus is the gateway to Athens, Europe's oldest major city. The Acropolis with the Parthenon has towered over the city for 2,500 years - surrounded by a lively café culture and one of the finest fish markets in the Aegean.

Pythagorio (Samos)
On the south-east coast of the Greek Aegean island of Samos close to the Turkish shore, this harbour town blends ancient history with lively island life. The name recalls the famous mathematician born here, and the nearby 6th-century BC Eupalinos Tunnel is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Çeşme
Çeşme on Turkey's Aegean coast is known for its Genoese castle on the harbour, thermal springs and the long sandy beaches and steady winds of Alaçatı - one of the Mediterranean's leading windsurfing centres.

Skyros
In the Northern Sporades of the Greek Aegean, Skyros is the largest and southernmost island of the group. The island is known for its small native Skyros pony breed and the traditional Byzantine chora crowned by a castle.

Skopelos
In the Northern Sporades of the Greek Aegean, the forested island of Skopelos became internationally famous through the film Mamma Mia! Pine forests, whitewashed monasteries and hidden coves define the island.

Poros
Only a narrow channel separates Poros from the Peloponnese, so close that the lemon groves of Galatas seem to scent the air across the water. The island is really two: rocky Sphairia and green, pine-clad Kalauria. Above the little town rises the white clock tower, the emblem of Poros, from which the view sweeps across the rooftops and the anchorage. In the heights lie the remains of the sanctuary of Poseidon, where legend says the orator Demosthenes once sought refuge.
