Bali 5.4

Comfort and generous space combined with excellent sailing characteristics without heeling. Aboard this spacious catamaran you will find room and privacy not only in the double cabins with private bathroom. Saloon and cockpit merge into a generous open-air saloon. Atmosphere on board

You and your fellow travellers spend a relaxed time together. The professional crew (skipper and cook/bosun) takes care of guests‘ well-being and safety. You are a guest and are free to unwind – you are not expected to lend a hand. The aim: a relaxed time with fine memories. The catamaran is usually under way for two to four hours a day.

Activities

  • Shore excursions or going ashore on your own
  • Watersports: kayaks or SUP, snorkelling
  • Relaxing on board during the passage to the next anchorage
  • Time on the beach

A maritime adventure

Gliding over the waves on the trampoline net between the hulls. On this cruise aboard a sailing catamaran there is no guarantee that she will proceed under sail – in unfavourable winds she will run under engine.

Simply arrive and unwind.

Cabins

Modern, light-filled cabins aboard the Bali 5.4

The catamaran offers 6 cabins for 12 guests. Each cabin has a private bathroom with shower and WC. Standard cabins are located amidships in the hulls. The Superior Cabins are positioned forward or aft in the hull, are slightly larger and brighter.

Route

The markers show possible anchorages. The skipper selects the specific places on site, depending on current conditions. Route, stops and order may change at the skipper's discretion. No mutual claims arise from route adjustments. Claims are not excluded where the route change is wilfully caused by the guest.

Region: Western Mediterranean - Corsica, Sardinia and the Amalfi Coast

What makes this region special

The Amalfi Coast is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a piece of earth that looks as though it came from another age. Along forty kilometres of steep coast between Sorrento and Salerno, villages hang on the cliffs, barely grown since the twelfth century. Positano with its pastel houses, Amalfi with its cathedral, Ravello high above with its villas. From the yacht you see these villages at their true scale - small, against the wall of the mountain.

Off the coast lie the Li Galli islands, three small rocks to which legend assigned the Sirens whom Odysseus heard singing. Today they belong privately to the Massine family, but you anchor off them and swim in a quiet bay. Further out lie the three islands of the Gulf of Naples: Capri, where from the pier at Marina Grande you see the Faraglioni rocks rise sheer from the water; Ischia, greener and quieter than Capri, with hot springs and a castle at Sant'Angelo; Procida, the smallest and most colourful, whose Marina Corricella of fishermen's houses in red, yellow and turquoise became the film location for Il Postino.

The water in the gulf is 24 degrees in July. The bays of Capri are often full of day-trip boats, but anyone staying overnight on the yacht has them to themselves in the late afternoon. The light here has a quality of its own: in the late afternoon the rock face of the Amalfi Coast turns golden orange, and the villages glow briefly before the sun disappears behind Capri.
