Comfort and generous space combined with excellent sailing characteristics without heeling. Aboard this spacious catamaran you will find room and privacy not only in the double cabins with private bathroom. Saloon and cockpit merge into a generous open-air saloon. Favourite spots are the sun loungers on the flybridge and the airy cockpit with benches and sun loungers on the foredeck. A bimini provides shade from the sun. The Bali 5.4 combines Catana's typically purist design with outstanding sailing qualities. The model was awarded Multihull of the Year at her market launch in 2019. She is fitted to a high standard with watermaker and generator.

Relaxed yacht holiday
Simply enjoy. Plenty of space on the flybridge, in the cockpit, on the trampoline net and in the saloon. Cabins with private bathroom, partly air-conditioned.
Atmosphere on board
You and your fellow travellers spend a relaxed time together. The professional crew (skipper and cook/bosun) ensures the well-being and safety of the guests. You are a guest and may simply unwind – you are not expected to help out actively. The aim: a relaxed time with lovely memories. The catamaran is typically under way two to four hours a day.

Seafaring adventure
Gliding over the waves on the trampoline net. On this cruise aboard a sailing catamaran there is no entitlement for the vessel to proceed under sail – in unfavourable winds she will also run under engine.

The catamaran offers 6 cabins for 12 guests. Each cabin has a private bathroom with shower and WC. Standard cabins are located amidships in the hulls. The Superior Cabins are positioned forward or aft in the hull, are slightly larger and brighter.

What makes this region special
Mauritius is an island in the Indian Ocean, eight hundred kilometres east of Madagascar. What makes it special as a destination is the mix: volcanic highlands inland with mountains rising to eight hundred metres, ringed by an almost continuous coral reef with a broad lagoon in between. In this lagoon you can sail right around the island, in shallow, calm water, without ever crossing the open sea.
The island's culture is all its own - a blend of Indian, Creole, French, Chinese and African influences, most visible in the cooking. Mauritius was first visited by the Portuguese, then Dutch (who wiped out the dodo), French, and finally British - independent since 1968. This history explains why Hindu temples, Catholic churches, mosques and pagodas stand side by side on the island.
Ile aux Cerfs on the east coast, with its white-sand version, is the postcard Mauritius. Ile aux Benitiers in the south-west lies off the mountain Le Morne - a lone rock face, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, that makes its own silhouette from the boat. Coin de Mire north-west of Cap Malheureux is a rock with a dense bird population and a good snorkelling reef around it. To the north lie Ile Plate and Gunner's Quoin as quiet anchorages.
The light is tropical and hard. The sunsets are short and full of colour, and the southern sky with the constellations of the Southern Cross stands above you at night.
