The Voyage

Malta, Comino, Pozzallo, Syracuse

This sailing voyage links the Maltese archipelago with the south-east coast of Sicily. A fine yacht voyage with attractive stops and longer legs between the islands and the Sicilian mainland.

Highlights

  • Malta: Start at the historic natural harbour of Valletta.
  • Comino: The turquoise Blue Lagoon for anchoring and bathing.
  • Pozzallo: Sicilian coastal town at the south-eastern tip of the island.
  • Syracuse: Baroque arrival harbour with the old-town island of Ortygia.
Distance voyage

A yacht voyage with beautiful stops for watersports and time ashore, but also longer legs sailed in part through the night. For everyone who enjoys the sailing itself.

Early booking advantage: Voyages in 2027 fill quickly - premium cabins are often reserved 18-24 months in advance. An early booking enquiry is non-binding and secures your preferred cabin category.

How the route could go:

Malta Comino (Malta) Pozzallo Syracuse

  • Malta (Malta) · Embarkation

Malta lies at the heart of the Mediterranean and combines 7,000 years of history. Megalithic temples (older than the pyramids), the fortress city of Valletta (UNESCO), the main island of Gozo and the azure Comino lagoon make Malta the most history-rich archipelago in Europe.

  • Comino (Malta)

Comino is the smallest of Malta's three inhabited islands (only 4 residents!). The Blue Lagoon with its turquoise water between Comino and Cominotto is considered one of the finest bathing spots in the Mediterranean.

  • Pozzallo (Sicily)

On the south-east coast of Sicily in the baroque UNESCO region of Val di Noto in the province of Ragusa, this harbour is the southernmost point of the Italian peninsula and the launching point for fast ferries to Malta. Sandy beaches, the 15th-century Cabrera Tower and the nearby baroque towns mark its surroundings.

  • Syracuse (Sicily) · Disembarkation

Syracuse on the east coast of Sicily was once among the most powerful cities of Greek antiquity. The old-town island of Ortygia, with its Temple of Apollo and the Arethusa spring, forms its historic heart.

The route of a sailing voyage may change without giving rise to mutual claims.
