Nizza · Embarkation
On the French Riviera on the Mediterranean lies Nice as the largest town of the Côte d'Azur in the Alpes-Maritimes. Its landmark is the Promenade des Anglais along the Baie des Anges, lined by the pastel-coloured Vieux Nice old town, the baroque Sainte-Réparate cathedral and the Castle Hill of Colline du Château with views across the entire bay.
-
Saint-Florent, Korsika
Saint-Florent on Corsica's north coast is known as "Corsica's Saint-Tropez". The sheltered bay, the wines of Patrimonio (Corsica's most famous wine region) and the nearby beaches of the Désert des Agriates make Saint-Florent the most elegant harbour on the island.
-
Ajaccio, Korsika
Ajaccio is the capital of Corsica on a wide bay on the western coast and birthplace of Napoleon Bonaparte. The Maison Bonaparte birthplace and the Musée Fesch, holding France's second-largest collection of Italian painting after the Louvre, draw visitors to the old town.

-
Bonifacio, Korsika
On white limestone cliffs at the southern tip of Corsica - Bonifacio literally hovers above the sea. The medieval citadel town lies just 12 kilometres from the Sardinian cape; below, boats anchor in the fjord-like harbour bay.
-
Calvi, Korsika
Calvi on Corsica's north-west coast has been home to the French Foreign Legion since 1962. The 13th-century Genoese citadel towers over a perfect crescent of pine-fringed beach, and local legend even claims the town as the birthplace of Christopher Columbus.

Le Ponant
Le Ponant is the essence of the Ponant idea: a three-masted sailing yacht for 64 guests, gliding under sail through waters closed to motorised ships. French cuisine, 32 crew, an atmosphere like a private yacht.
In the Mediterranean, Le Ponant glides through Corsican coves, along the Côte d'Azur and to the Balearics - waters where her small size becomes a decisive advantage.
