The Voyage

Papeete to Valparaíso

A 23-night expedition aboard Silver Cloud links Tahiti with the Chilean Pacific coast, stepping across some of the most remote islands in the world. After Fakarava and the Marquesas calls at Atuona, Tahuata, Hatiheu and Hanavave, the route continues to the Gambier Islands with Mangareva. Pitcairn with Adamstown is home to the Bounty descendants and a legendary South Seas destination. The highlight is Easter Island with its Moai statues and UNESCO World Heritage landscape. Via the lonely Juan Fernandez Islands of Alejandro Selkirk and Robinson Crusoe, the real setting of Defoe's novel, the voyage ends in Valparaíso. An expedition team, Zodiacs and Silversea's all-inclusive offering shape an intense onboard experience.
