From Warnemünde to Kiel
Embarkation: 14.09.2026, 19:00 in Warnemünde
Disembarkation: 21.09.2026, 10:00 in Kiel
Seven nights under sail aboard the Eye of the Wind take you through the western Baltic, from the Mecklenburg coastal town of Warnemünde to Kiel. Between the German and Danish coasts you take time to discover sheltered anchorages, small islands and maritime harbour towns. The exact course depends on wind and weather, so every leg takes on its own character.
From Rostock-Warnemünde you set a westerly course and explore the Baltic coast between Germany and Denmark. Depending on wind and weather, the crew may call at Danish islands such as Falster, Lolland, Langeland or Ærø, while the Bay of Lübeck, Heiligenhafen and the island of Fehmarn also beckon. Wherever possible your own wishes shape the choice of route, before the voyage ends in Kiel.
Included: seven nights in a double cabin, full board on board (all meals plus water, coffee and tea), use of the saloon with ship’s library, showers and sanitary facilities, bed linen and towels.
Not included: travel to and from the ship, shore excursions as well as soft drinks and alcoholic beverages.

Kiel
How the route could go:
-
Warnemünde · Embarkation
Warnemünde is the port for Rostock and lies on the Baltic with a long white sand beach right behind the lighthouse. Excursions lead to Rostock and the Hanseatic city or inland to the castle and old town of Schwerin (UNESCO World Heritage).
-
Ærø (Ærø)
Ærø lies in the southern Danish Baltic between Funen and the German coast. The almost car-free island is known for its colourful beach huts, the seafarers' town of Marstal and the picturesque old town of Ærøskøbing.
-
Heiligenhafen
On the Baltic Sea in Schleswig-Holstein, Heiligenhafen sits on the Wagria peninsula opposite Fehmarn Island. The historic fishing port with its long pier is a popular water sports area for surfers and sailors and the starting point for trips into the UNESCO World Heritage Wadden Sea and to the bird island of Graswarder.
-
Kiel · Disembarkation
Capital of Schleswig-Holstein on a deeply incised fjord of the western Baltic. Terminus of the Kiel Canal, host of Kiel Week and home port for many Scandinavian ferries, with its distinctive Ostuferhafen terminal.
