Nafplio, Spetses, Milos, Santorini
This sailing voyage links the Argolic Gulf with the Cyclades, running from Nafplio to Santorini. On the way across the open Aegean, sheltered anchorages alternate with longer legs, some of them sailed by night.
Highlights
- Nafplio: Setting off from the Venetian old town beneath the Palamidi fortress.
- Spetses: A green Saronic island with neoclassical villas and an old harbour.
- Milos: Anchoring off pale rocky shores such as Sarakiniko and Kleftiko.
- Santorini: A crowning finale as you sail in beneath the spectacular caldera.
A yacht voyage with beautiful stops for watersports and time ashore, but also longer legs sailed in part through the night. For everyone who enjoys the sailing itself.
Early booking advantage: Voyages in 2027 fill quickly - premium cabins are often reserved 18-24 months in advance. An early booking enquiry is non-binding and secures your preferred cabin category.

How the route could go:
-
Nafplio · Embarkation
Nafplio was the first capital of independent Greece from 1827 to 1834, and remains one of the country's most elegant towns. Above the old quarter stands the Venetian fortress of Palamidi, reached by a famous flight of steps, while out in the harbour the little island castle of Bourtzi lies at anchor like a ship of stone. The neoclassical lanes, bright with bougainvillea and lined with cafés, seem to breathe history. Two World Heritage Sites lie close by: the ancient theatre of Epidaurus, celebrated for its perfect acoustics, and the citadel of Mycenae with its Lion Gate.
-
Spetses
Spetses is a car-free island in the Saronic Gulf (only carriages and mopeds). The main town with its neoclassical captain's houses, the famous Poseidonion hotel island and the Anargyrios School peninsula (filming location of John Fowles' "The Magus") define the island.
-
Milos
Milos owes its shape to its volcanic past, and the evidence is everywhere: at Sarakiniko, wind and water have polished the rock into a moon-white landscape unlike anywhere else in the Aegean. In 1820 a farmer here unearthed the Aphrodite of Milos, known the world over as the Venus de Milo and now in the Louvre. In the fishing village of Klima the syrmata run down to the water, brightly painted boathouses where the fishing boats once wintered. More than 70 coves, each tinted a different shade of volcanic rock, make Milos the most varied of the Cyclades.
-
Santorini · Disembarkation
Santorini - properly Thira - sits on the rim of an extinct volcanic crater. The white houses of Fira and Oia with their blue domes, the breathtaking view into the caldera and the deep-black volcanic sand of its beaches make this one of the most iconic destinations in the Mediterranean.
The route of a sailing voyage may change without giving rise to mutual claims.
