Zakynthos, Kefalonia, Lefkas from/to Zakynthos
This sailing voyage runs through the southern Ionian Sea from Zakynthos via Kefalonia to Lefkas and back. Short legs under sail and long nights at anchor in sheltered bays set the pace, while each morning the clear water invites a swim. Greece under sail, unhurried and close to coast and sea.
Highlights
- Zakynthos: shipwreck bay and blue caves, along with the Venetian-influenced island capital.
- Kefalonia: the beach of Myrtos and the Melissani cave with its underground lake.
- Lefkas: the calm anchorages around Nydri and nearby Meganisi.
- Water sports: time to swim and dive from the deck at quiet anchorages.
The finest way to sail: a new anchorage every day, plenty of time for watersports and going ashore, nights at anchor in a quiet bay and a morning swim before moving on.
Early booking advantage: Voyages in 2027 fill quickly - premium cabins are often reserved 18-24 months in advance. An early booking enquiry is non-binding and secures your preferred cabin category.
The Route
Zakynthos
7 nights
Zakynthos
How the route could go:
-
Zakynthos · Embarkation
Zakynthos is the southernmost of the Ionian Islands. Smugglers Cove with its stranded shipwreck is one of the world's best-known beach motifs; the sheltered Bay of Laganas is a nesting ground for loggerhead turtles.
-
Kefalonia
Kefalonia is the largest of the Ionian Islands. Myrtos Bay - one of the most photographed beach motifs in Greece - the Drogarati stalactite cave and the underground lake of Melissani (open water beneath a collapsed cave roof) give Kefalonia a uniquely natural character.
-
Lefkas (Lefkada)
Lefkas (Lefkada) is one of the few Greek islands connected to the mainland by bridge. Turquoise beaches (Porto Katsiki, Egremni) are among the finest in Europe; Venetian fortresses recall the island's history.
-
