The world of sailing ships
When wind and canvas set the pace – intimate ships, real sails, extraordinary moments.
Ms. Karg organised a wonderful 4-day sailing trip to Greece for us with subsequent sightseeing in Athens. A holiday that was perfect in every way.
Many thanks for the wonderful trip to Spitsbergen. Everything worked out beautifully.
I wanted to capture the feeling of the old explorers for myself — riding the trade winds westward. That's why it had to be a traditional tall ship. The Oosterschelde was exactly right: a handsome vessel where seamanship is kept alive, a three-mast topsail schooner with just the right rig for this voyage, and a wonderful regular crew.
