Leg 1 · Embarkation

Philipsburg

Sint Maarten - Maho Beach mit tief über den Strand anfliegendem Flugzeug

Philipsburg is the capital of Dutch Sint Maarten - the smallest land mass shared by two nations. Front Street with its duty-free shops and the aeroplane beach bar near Princess Juliana Airport are Caribbean attractions of a very special kind.

Leg 2

Gustavia

Der Hafen von Gustavia auf St. Barth aus der Luft

Gustavia is the capital of Saint-Barthélemy and is regarded as the "Côte d'Azur of the Caribbean". The small natural harbour, surrounded by international boutiques, gourmet restaurants and elegant yachts, blends relaxed island feel with European refinement.

Leg 3

Jost Van Dyke

Jost-van-Dyke DSC1203

Jost van Dyke (British Virgin Islands) is barely 8 square kilometres in size, yet famous far beyond the Caribbean. The legendary "Soggy Dollar Bar" at White Bay Beach - where you swim ashore from your anchorage and pay with wet notes - is regarded as the most laid-back beach in the world.

Leg 4

Sopers Hole

Karibik - Tropische Inseln mit türkisem Riff aus der Luft

Sopers Hole at the western tip of Tortola is a classic Caribbean yacht harbour. The colourful wooden houses, Pusser's Rum Bar and the sheltered bay make the place the most atmospheric marina in the British Virgin Islands.

Leg 5

Sir Francis Drake Channel

Karibik - Weißer Strand mit Segelboot im türkisen Wasser

The Sir Francis Drake Channel is the sheltered waterway between the main islands of the British Virgin Islands. Named after the English privateer who called here in 1595 - today a world-class yachting area with steady 25-knot trade winds and over 40 anchorages in sight.

Leg 6

Norman Island

Palmenstrand mit türkisfarbenem Wasser in der Karibik

Norman Island in the British Virgin Islands is said to have inspired Robert Louis Stevenson's "Treasure Island". The uninhabited island offers cave diving in the sea caves and one of the Caribbean's most popular floating bars.

Leg 7

Spanish Town

Virgin Gorda

Spanish Town on the BVI island of Virgin Gorda is the gateway to "The Baths" - a rock formation of house-sized granite boulders forming pools, tunnels and grottoes between them. One of the most spectacular geological phenomena in the Caribbean.

Leg 8

British Virgin Islands

Delfine im klaren Wasser der Karibik
Leg 9

Basseterre

Weißer Strand mit dem Schatten einer Palme

Basseterre is the capital of Saint Kitts and one of the best-preserved colonial cities in the English-speaking Caribbean. Brimstone Hill Fortress, the "Gibraltar of the Caribbean", has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999.

Leg 10

South Friars Bay

Felsige kleine Insel in der karibischen See

South Friars Bay lies on the quiet south-eastern coast of Saint Kitts, sheltered by hills and the South East Peninsula. The bay is known for its calm water and relaxed beach-bar atmosphere.

Leg 11

Road Bay

Türkisfarbene Bucht mit vorgelagertem Inselchen

Road Bay (also Sandy Ground) is the main anchorage on Anguilla's west coast. Lively beach bars, fresh lobster grilled right by the water and the historic salt-drying site in the hinterland make the place authentically Caribbean.

Leg 12

Philipsburg

Bunt gestrichenes Holzhaus im karibischen Stil

Philipsburg is the capital of Dutch Sint Maarten - the smallest land mass shared by two nations. Front Street with its duty-free shops and the aeroplane beach bar near Princess Juliana Airport are Caribbean attractions of a very special kind.
