Nine nights take Silver Wind from Puerto Williams across the Drake Passage to the Antarctic Peninsula, ending at King George Island. The turn of the year afloat opens the high summer, with penguin chicks largely hatched and humpback whales animating the Peninsula's bays. The one-way design with a fly-out from King George Island saves the second Drake crossing.
