Nine nights carry Silver Wind from King George Island across the Antarctic Peninsula and the Drake Passage back to Puerto Williams. In the Antarctic high summer most penguin chicks have hatched and humpback whales are frequent. The Drake Passage forms the homeward leg, often under the wings of albatrosses and petrels.
