Nine nights take Silver Wind from Puerto Williams across the Drake Passage to the Antarctic Peninsula, ending at King George Island. The one-way design saves a second Drake crossing and ends with a flight out from King George Island. In early summer the penguin breeding cycle is under way and ice still lies thicker in the bays.
