Nine nights carry Silver Wind from King George Island across the Peninsula and the Drake Passage back to Puerto Williams. The one-way design with a flight in to King George Island saves the southbound Drake crossing. In the high summer most penguin chicks have hatched and humpback whales are frequent visitors to Wilhelmina Bay.
