Fourteen nights take Silver Whisper from Honolulu across the central Pacific to Tahiti. After Nawiliwili on Kauai with its emerald canyons, sea days cross the equatorial zone before reaching the rugged Marquesas. Nuku Hiva impresses with steep basalt cliffs, Polynesian tiki sites and deep valleys. The lagoons of Makatea and Rangiroa in the Tuamotu archipelago open the turquoise world of the atolls, followed by Moorea with Cook's Bay and Opunohu Bay. Via Raiatea, the sacred isle of Polynesia, the voyage ends in Papeete on Tahiti.

Honolulu on Oahu is the gateway to Hawaii. The attack on Pearl Harbor on 7 December 1941 is experienced first-hand at the USS Arizona Memorial. Excursions head to the Diamond Head crater, the Polynesian Cultural Center or along the North Shore with its legendary surf beaches Sunset Beach and Banzai Pipeline.
Nawiliwili is the main port of the Hawaiian island of Kaua'i on its south-east coast on the Pacific. It lies close to the island capital Lihue and serves as the gateway to the spectacular Waimea Canyon, which Mark Twain called the Grand Canyon of the Pacific, and to the inaccessible Nā Pali cliffs on the north-western side.
Nuku Hiva is the largest island in the Marquesas, in the north of French Polynesia. Herman Melville was stranded here in 1842 and gathered material for his novel "Typee". Sharp volcanic peaks, traditional tiki sculptures and the Tahuata cultural festival make the Marquesas unique.
Rangiroa is one of the largest atolls in the world and belongs to the Tuamotu Archipelago in French Polynesia. Its crystal-clear lagoon and the famous Tiputa and Avatoru passes are among the finest dive sites in the South Pacific.
Just 17 kilometres off Tahiti lies Moorea - jagged volcanic peaks, turquoise lagoons and white coral reefs sit closer together here than anywhere else in the South Seas. Cook's Bay (Baie de Cook) and Opunohu Bay are among the finest natural settings in Polynesia.
Raiatea was once the religious centre of Polynesia. The Marae Taputapuatea, a 700-year-old temple complex by the water, has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2017 and is the most significant archaeological site in the South Seas.
The capital of Tahiti on the north-west coast of the main island of French Polynesia is the gateway to the South Seas. It combines a colourful market scene at the Marché de Pape'ete with pearl jewellery boutiques, creole cafés and the harbourside roulottes food stalls. Papeete is the start and end point of almost every Polynesia cruise.
