Leg 1 · Wed, 03.11. · Embarkation

Fusina (Venice)

Italien, venedig, Markusplatz

Fusina lies on the mainland side of the Venetian lagoon and is the classic boat landing for visiting Venice. The ferry crosses the lagoon in 20 minutes and lands at St Mark's Square.

Leg 2 · Thu, 04.11.

Koper

Adria – türkise Bucht an der dalmatinischen Küste

Koper is Slovenia's only seaport and a small Venetian gem: the Loggia, the Praetorian Palace and the cathedral square bear witness to a rich history as Capodistria. Excursions reach the medieval old town of Piran in just a few minutes.

Leg 3 · Fri, 05.11.

Zadar

Der Hafen von Zadar im berühmten Abendlicht

Zadar on the Croatian Adriatic coast has Roman roots. The Sea Organ (waves create music through built-in pipes) and the "Greeting to the Sun" (300 solar-powered glass panels) at the waterfront are modern art installations of world renown.

Leg 4 · Sat, 06.11.

Dubrovnik

Aerial view of Dubrovnik, Croatia

The "Pearl of the Adriatic" is one of Europe's best-preserved medieval cityscapes and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979. The mighty 13th-century city walls can be walked all the way round - offering panoramic views of the Adriatic and the Dalmatian islands.

Leg 5 · Sun, 07.11.

Split

Adria – Segelboote in einer Bucht

Split literally lives inside an emperor's palace: Diocletian's Palace, dating from the 4th century, is inhabited to this day and forms the core of the Old Town - a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979.

Leg 6 · Mon, 08.11.

Kotor

Adria – Sonnenuntergang über dem Meer

At the end of one of the longest fjords in the Adriatic lies Kotor, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979. The fully preserved Venetian city walls and the panoramic view from the Fortress of San Giovanni over the Bay of Kotor are among the most impressive experiences in the Mediterranean.

Leg 7 · Tue, 09.11.

Bari

Polignano a Mare (BA, Italy): heaven on earth

Bari is the capital of Apulia on Italy's Adriatic coast. The old town of Bari Vecchia, the orecchiette pasta makers in front of their doorsteps and the Basilica of San Nicola (a pilgrimage site for Orthodox Christians from around the world) make Bari authentic.

Leg 8 · Sat, 13.11.

Porto Santo Stefano

Ibiza Bucht

Porto Santo Stefano lies on Monte Argentario and is the gateway to the Tuscan archipelago islands of Giglio and Giannutri. The nearby Maremma nature parks, the outstanding seafood and the low level of tourism make Porto Santo Stefano the most elegant insider tip in Italy.

Leg 9 · Sun, 14.11.

Livorno (Tuscany)

Klippen mit türkisfarbener Grotte im Mittelmeer

Livorno is the gateway to Tuscany, with Florence, Pisa and Lucca as excursion destinations. The harbour town itself awaits with the authentic Mercato Centrale and the Venezia Nuova quarter with its canals.

Leg 10 · Mon, 15.11. · Disembarkation

Monte Carlo

Monte Carlo mit Fürstenfelsen und Hafen Fontvieille, Monaco

The heart of Monaco combines luxury, elegance and history in the smallest of spaces: the famous Casino, the Grand Prix circuit through the streets, Jacques Cousteau's Oceanographic Museum and one of the most modern yacht harbours in the Mediterranean.
