Eighteen nights round trip from Puerto Williams give Silver Cloud time to explore the islands and bays of the Antarctic Peninsula in depth. After the Drake Passage, a long phase of daily landings and Zodiac cruises follows, with the expedition team planning by ice, weather and wildlife. Humpback whales, Weddell seals and gentoo penguins are regular encounters, complemented by landings on Petermann Island and through the Lemaire Channel where ice allows.
