South Seas Dream Expedition

13 nights · 1. April - 14. April 2027 · Papeete (Tahiti) → Lautoka

Discover the voyage

A thirteen-night expedition aboard Silver Cloud links French Polynesia with Fiji and traverses island groups that are rarely reached. From Papeete, the western Pacific opens with possible calls in the southern Cook Islands around Rarotonga and Aitutaki, and in the Polynesian Kingdom of Tonga with the Vava'u group and quiet beaches on Eueiki or Uoleva. Via Fiji's Lau Islands with Fulanga and limestone lagoons, the route continues to Lautoka on Viti Levu.

Raiatea

Leg 4 · Mon, 05.04.

Rarotonga

As the largest of the Cook Islands in the South Pacific, this volcanic island rises from turquoise waters with the rugged Te Manga (652 m) at its centre. An unbroken coral reef encircles it, creating a calm lagoon, while dense rainforest blankets the mountainous interior with waterfalls and walking trails.

Leg 5 · Tue, 06.04.

Aitutaki is part of the Cook Islands in the South Pacific and is famed for its turquoise lagoon dotted with small motus. It is considered one of the most beautiful lagoons in the world.

Leg 6 · Wed, 07.04.

Palmerston Island

Palmerston Island is a remote coral atoll in the Cook Islands of the South Pacific. Almost all its few residents descend from the Englishman William Marsters, who settled here in the 19th century; a broad lagoon encircles the motu.

Leg 7 · Fri, 09.04.

Alofi (Niue)

Alofi is the capital of Niue, a single uplifted coral island in the South Pacific between Tonga and the Cook Islands. With around 1,700 inhabitants Niue is one of the smallest self-governing nations in the world, with no beaches but countless caves and crystal pools in the limestone.

Lautoka

Lautoka, the "Sugar City" on Fiji's main island of Viti Levu, is the gateway to the Mamanuca and Yasawa island groups. The nearby Sabeto mud pools with hot springs and the Garden of the Sleeping Giant (orchid collection) are classic Fiji highlights.
