This 15-night one-way expedition links Puerto Williams with Punta Arenas and combines South Georgia with the Antarctic Peninsula. Silver Cloud first crosses to South Georgia's remote beaches, where hundreds of thousands of king penguins gather at St Andrews Bay and Salisbury Plain. The Drake Passage then leads via Elephant Island into the Antarctic Sound, dominated by tabular icebergs and brash ice. Further penguin and seal landings follow in the South Shetlands before the voyage concludes in the Magellan port of Punta Arenas.
