Ten nights focus on the Antarctic Peninsula and the South Shetland Islands, a classically dense expedition programme. Silver Cloud crosses the Drake Passage and then weaves through the Antarctic Sound with daily landings and Zodiac cruises. In the southern high summer most penguin chicks have hatched, and humpback whales move through the bays. The expedition team plans each day according to ice, wind and wildlife.
