Twelve nights take Silver Cloud from Puerto Williams across the Drake Passage into the Antarctic Sound and the South Shetland Islands. The ice-strengthened expedition yacht carries only a modest number of guests, allowing up to two landings a day when ice and weather permit. Humpback whales often share Wilhelmina Bay and Paradise Bay, while Cuverville Island is famed for its large gentoo colonies.
