Island Dreams in the South Pacific

13 nights · 29. September - 12. October 2026 · Lautoka → Papeete

Discover the voyage

This thirteen-night expedition aboard Silver Cloud links Fiji with French Polynesia and traverses island groups rarely visited by cruise ships. From Lautoka on Viti Levu, the world of the Lau Islands opens with Somosomo, the Ringgold Isles, Cobia and Fulanga, whose limestone lagoons rank among Fiji's most beautiful. In Tonga, Neiafu in the Vava'u group and the quiet stops at Eueiki and Uoleva invite snorkelling and an encounter with the Polynesian kingdom. Via Rarotonga and Aitutaki in the Cook Islands, the route continues to Bora Bora and through the Tuamotus to Papeete.

Ringgold Isles

In north-eastern Fiji east of Vanua Levu island in the South Pacific, this remote island group comprises around a dozen small atolls and coral reefs. Sparsely inhabited and barely developed for tourism, it serves as a secluded port of call for yacht charters and expedition cruises.

Leg 4 · Fri, 02.10.

Fulanga

Hidden deep in Fiji's Lau group lies the remote atoll of Fulanga in the South Pacific, well off the tourist routes. Neiafu

Neiafu is the main town of the Vava'u island group in the Kingdom of Tonga in the South Pacific north of Tongatapu.
