Leg 1 · Wed, 14.04. · Embarkation

Casablanca

Casablanca is Morocco's economic heart. The Hassan II Mosque on the Atlantic (one of the tallest minarets in the world at 210 m), the Art Deco architecture of the city centre and the charm of the Quartier Habous make Casablanca North Africa's most modern city.

Leg 2 · Fri, 16.04.

Tanger

Ibiza Bucht

Tangier sits on the Strait of Gibraltar, where the Atlantic and the Mediterranean meet. The medina with its narrow lanes, the kasbah above the harbour and the unique play of light between two continents drew painters such as Henri Matisse here.

Leg 3 · Sat, 17.04.

Cádiz

Cádiz - Kathedrale mit goldener Kuppel vom Wasser

Cádiz is regarded as the longest continuously inhabited city in western Europe (founded by the Phoenicians around 1,100 BC). The "tacita de plata" (silver cup) lies on a peninsula in the Atlantic - golden La Caleta beach, old city walls and the largest cathedral in Andalusia.

Leg 4 · Sun, 18.04.

Málaga

Klippen mit türkisfarbener Grotte im Mittelmeer

On the Costa del Sol in Andalusia on Spain's southern Mediterranean coast lies Málaga at the foot of the El Torcal mountains. Birthplace of Pablo Picasso, the city is today a major cultural hub with the Picasso Museum, the Moorish Alcazaba from the 11th century, the Roman theatre ruins and a lively harbour quarter around the Muelle Uno.

Leg 5 · Wed, 21.04.

Cartagena

Cartagena

Cartagena is a port city on the Spanish Mediterranean coast in the Murcia region and home to one of the country's principal naval bases. Carthaginians, Romans and Moors all shaped the bay, and the Roman theatre from the time of Augustus, rediscovered in the city centre, is among the most impressive in Spain.

Leg 6 · Thu, 22.04.

Ibiza

Ibiza Bucht

Ibiza's old town Dalt Vila is a fully preserved Renaissance fortress on a hill and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999. Beyond the nightlife, the island surprises with lavender fields, authentic fishing villages and the Ses Salines nature reserve with its flamingo-inhabited salt pans.

Leg 7 · Fri, 23.04.

Palma de Mallorca

Ruhige Ankerbucht mit Segelbooten im Mittelmeer

La Seu Cathedral - one of the most striking Gothic cathedrals in Europe - stands right by Palma's harbour. The Old Town with its noble palaces, Arab baths and Arab Quarter brings together three millennia of history.

Leg 8 · Sat, 24.04.

Mahón

Leg 9 · Mon, 26.04.

St. Tropez

st-tropez AJH2059

Saint-Tropez on the Côte d'Azur was made into a myth by Brigitte Bardot's film "Et Dieu créa la femme". Pastel-coloured houses around the old harbour, the market at Place des Lices and the famous Pampelonne and Tahiti beaches make the town a destination of longing.

Leg 10 · Tue, 27.04. · Disembarkation

Nizza

Nizza - Hafeneinfahrt mit Leuchtturm, Monument aux Morts und Stadt

On the French Riviera on the Mediterranean lies Nice as the largest town of the Côte d'Azur in the Alpes-Maritimes. Its landmark is the Promenade des Anglais along the Baie des Anges, lined by the pastel-coloured Vieux Nice old town, the baroque Sainte-Réparate cathedral and the Castle Hill of Colline du Château with views across the entire bay.
