This 13-night expedition links the High Arctic of Spitsbergen with the volcanic north of Iceland. Aboard Le Lyrial, an ice-strengthened premium vessel of the sistership class for 184 guests, the voyage begins in Longyearbyen, follows the west coast of Spitsbergen to Ny-Ålesund and then crosses to the remote east coast of Greenland. In Ittoqqortoormiit on Scoresbysund Inuit culture meets a vast fjord system. Across the Denmark Strait the route continues to Iceland's north coast, with whale watching in Húsavík and the geological wonders of the Snæfellsnes peninsula.
