Late-summer peninsula route in late February: from Ushuaia, Le Lyrial crosses the Drake Passage to the Antarctic Peninsula. In late February many humpbacks are active and the penguin juveniles are slowly leaving the colonies. Landings follow IAATO standards with no more than 100 guests ashore. One of the last classic peninsula voyages of the season, with the character of a mature polar summer.
