Ten nights of classic Antarctica at the height of summer: from Ushuaia, Le Boréal crosses the Drake Passage and heads for the Antarctic Peninsula. In December the penguin colonies are in full swing and daylight extends deep into the night. The marina platform at the stern serves as a launch point for Zodiac landings, the naturalist team accompanying every outing. Landings follow IAATO standards with no more than 100 guests ashore at once, a principle that keeps the peninsula accessible at all.
