Description
5th Autumn regatta in Warnemünde on Hiddensee to Rügen.

In keeping with tradition, we meet for a final season on the Baltic Sea Regatta. We celebrate a sailing weekend with friends.

The winner gets to take a 12-month-ivent-sailing trophy, the Berlin artist Achim Kühn designed specifically for us and once forged.

Some have been here for years and more are being added each year, new sailors. We organize the race, the ships and if desired also the skipper, the food supply on board, dinner on Saturday and the final joint lunch on Sunday. Of course we also organize the logistics for all meals of the large group and getting to the train station.

Procedure:
Friday: Check in, taking over the yacht, crew briefing and dinner.
On Saturday we start at sunrise in Warnemünde. As befits a regatta, we are about 65 nautical miles to cover as completely as possible Hiddensee under sail. We are first and pass later Darßer place the bush at the North Cape of Hiddensee. After passing through the sophisticated navigational waters of Hiddensee we anchor in Kloster (Hiddensee). After mooring we have earned a good warming and strengthening. For early arrival, the Dornbusch waits to be climbed. On a clear day you can look to Mon - The climb is rewarded with a magnificent view over the sea and Hiddensee. In the evenings, either in the popular Wieseneck of Kloster or the famous Hotel Hitthim where once fed Asta Nielsen, Albert Einstein and Gerhardt Hauptmann, our hungry stomachs with dinner. Who might try spinning the Seemannsgarns from last season, the delicious sea buckthorn beverage. The fastest skipper on corrected time can take the trophy ivent-sailing-in the reception.

Sunday: After a night in your own sleeping bag on the boat each Crew takes a hearty breakfast on board before we start on Sunday after complaints. On the last stage we expect a leisurely trip through the lagoon waters for 15 nautical miles to Breege. Because of the narrow fairway with oncoming ferries sailing can be quite challenging for the skipper and helmsman. Before we say early Sunday afternoon in Breege Ahoy until next year, the Bridge House holds in store for us Breege even a snack.
